Lo4 D2 Before and after images of my edited products

This shot has been described as looking like an establishing shit for a movie. I rated this image 4 stars as I loved the reflection that the neon lights reflected onto the car bonet. However, I still believed it needed to be edited, to ensure it reaches it full potential. The image itself manages to capture the bright nightlife that is present in Doncaster and uses the rule of thirds to add symmetry to the image.  I only slightly edited this image as I believed the original image was very sharp and contrasted well. However, to make the image more symmetrical and play into the rule of thirds, I cropped it slightly to get rid of some detail that was un needed. I also increased some of the shadows while decreasing the highlights slightly, which made contrast   This image, of the church located in Doncaster town, was taken at night. I adjusted the shutter speed of the camera in order to achieve this shot. I wanted to present the church as this bright large building that and show the depth

In this image you can see how I rated each image in Lightroom from 1 to 5 star based off how I think it fits with the Topic of 'Beautiful Doncaster' and how good each shot was taken. The images that I liked will be edited in Lightroom. The images that I rated 5 stars will definitely be used in my final product and be edited in Lightroom, where I will change the saturation, contrast, and delete unwanted things in the image using the healing brush.  Images that I felt were blurry and unfocused were discarded and I rated them a 1 star. However images that I felt could be better when edited were labelled 3 stars as I could try to make the image more appealing when editing it. Along with this, I labelled photos such as the TGI Fridays image and the motorway image 5 stars. This was because they were excellent shots that needed minimal editing to make better.  As you can see, I have rated this image 5 stars.
